- He completed his MBBS from Seth GS Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai, and his MS in Ophthalmology from PDU Govt Medical College, Rajkot. He also holds a DNB in Ophthalmology and FAICO (Retina).
- He completed a 2 year Long Term Fellowship in Retina and Vitreous at the renowned Aravind Eye Hospital, Pondicherry, along with special training in stitchless cataract surgery at Sankara Eye Hospital, Guntur.
- His clinical experience includes over 2,000 retina surgeries, over 3,000 cataract surgeries and more than 2,000 eye injections. He also has special interest in uveitis, glaucoma and Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) in newborn babies.
